Program overview

Management Essentials is a foundational program aimed at equipping managers with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to succeed in their roles.

In this practical program, managers will learn the fundamentals of people management, become skilled in coaching conversations, the key to fostering an ethical and safe workplace, and develop confidence in decision making.

The program will provide practical tools, resources and frameworks for managers to apply on the job. For example, managers will be encouraged to have “real” coaching, feedback and wellbeing conversations with team members and peers to practise the skills and report to the cohort. This way, the cohort can support each other through the process. The goal is to foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing culture which champions healthy team collaboration and great results.
