Behavioural Insights and HR

The Behavioural Economics Team of the Australian Government (BETA) will provide an overview of behavioural insights (BI) and will discuss how BI was applied to a recent project to assist supervisors to support injured/ill staff return to the workplace. BETA and the (then) Department of Employment developed behaviourally informed reference materials with feedback from HR and workplace safety experts. Materials were tailored to both psychological and physical conditions.

The materials provide guidance for supervisors to have informed conversations with workers at specific points in the return to work pathway. BETA will provide an overview of the project results as well as the materials which are available for use through the BETA website.

AHRI members can earn 0.5 CPD points from this webinar.
