Zero-to-one in Higher Education
Join us for a radically framed thought experiment in discovering what the possibilities of a zero to one shift in higher education could bring.
Rooting the discussion in the ideas of Peter Thiel, Clayton Christiansen, Theodore Levitt and other renowned academic thought leaders, we’ll be exploring the outer limits of what future business and operating models for higher education might look like, as well as debating where some of the biggest competition to Higher Education provision might come from.
To paraphrase a quote that Christensen attributes to Theodore Levitt – “I don’t need a drill – I need a hole in the wall”, or this gem from Zig Zigglar, “People don’t buy products; they buy the expectation of benefits” – what if in “a giant leap for mankind’, we were to suggest to you that that the greatest single threat and the biggest future competitors to Higher Education could plausibly be the likes of Samsung, Intel or perhaps maybe Seagate? Would you think us mad?
Join us to find out more and weigh-in on the conversation. We’re looking forward to seeing you at our session.
