Our story

In 2004, when most online learning was dry, isolating and painfully one-way, a musician and a tax lawyer teamed up to flip the script. Their goal wasn’t to fix e-learning, it was to break it. Instead of talking at people, they imagined learning that drew on people’s experience, encouraging them to learn with and from each other.

That simple but radical idea became Cahoot Learning – a collaborative digital platform that puts human connection at the heart of education. From 50-person sessions to purpose-built programs that now reach thousands online, our model has been formally recognised for both platform and pedagogical excellence by an Education Alliance Finland audit.

Today, over 2.5 million learners across 137 countries have experienced Cahoot Learning including people from NASA, Apple, Boeing and Coca-Cola, logging in from places as remote as a mine in Pilbara, Australia or a Siberian shack. What unites them is the experience of learning together.
